apparently
ignorance is appropriate
socially
and must be announced
vocally
like songs that seem
out of context
or out of concept
but accepted
openly

and obviously
images must be outrageous
and contagious
and “beat faces”
are not beat faces
but cover ups
for beat faces

somehow
it’s smarter to be dumb
and not just playing
numb
to the pain
of having to feel
the same hurt
over
and again

according to them
it is better to be them
than you
unless you are strong enough
to be you
in order to become
one of them
so that they
can steal your identity
and become you,
“friends”

specifically
anonymity is ridiculous,
serendipitous
but meticulously orchestrated
intuition
compared to science
evidence that there is
something to it
to the theories
conspiracies
of something bigger
like a small group
that meet
to move it
like the mountains
in the Jesus story

truthfully
there is
more to it
