Whether it is a word or a work, it is what it is until YOU possess it. Ownership of an entity, emotion, or experience is what orders that said entity, emotion, or experience under YOUR authority. YOU can’t “own” it until YOU “own up” to it; YOU have to make “it” YOURS by making the required/necessary announcements, appointments, and adjustments that make YOU accountable to the person/place/thing that YOU aspire or are accepted for.
