We write poetry
in nude poses
supposedly
in support of showing things
like how beautiful we are
as hopeless beings
as vocalist
in silent dreams
as token values
in broken schemes
as mad articulates
in spoken deeds
with our bodies
interwoven fiends
strewn across canvases
stolen by focused thieves
who rendezvous with dark
to expose their gleam

like innocent naked bodies
that disclose their needs
broken by disappointment
that bleeds
focused on old wisdom
that reads:

It’s yours to give away,
proceed
