…Remnants and memories
strewn about
and piled

…the desperate heat
and it’s scorching reach,
for awhile

…lessons of a time away
and times spent there
in that of time

…bare nakedness
drenching wet of it
of such madness, unwind

…perfect matches
and bathing redress
and shades

…culinary folly
that bonfire jolly
escapes

…and all
of what summer was,
Fall leaves.
