Because She wants to… [POEM]

Because she wants to believe you,
everything you say is believable

every feat is feasible
and She’ll have no faint in feeding you
no restraint in leaving you
to be great
whatever it takes,
She will wither,
or wait
take more than chances
leave statutes or states
forgo unforgotten former fixations,
for sake
forsake not the former self
for place
but She will give you even more than that,
space
time to equate
Her versus place
Her verses placed
in prayers and proclamation
confident expectations,
safe
who you are to Her
being more important
so She affords you mistakes,
grace

Because She wants to believe you,
everything you say is believable

each story worthy of being attended to
focus deliberate
She has tended to
listen
more than speak Her mind
finding ways to tweak and fine tune
each thought sentenced,
time
no need to interrupt
She is into you already,
intertwined
thinking to Herself,
“I will turn His vision into mine”
commitment,
an intricate science
She is into trying

Because She wants to believe you,
everything you say is believable

consideration and credit given
for instance
She is understanding
beyond understanding,
instant
Her instinct being
existence
Her example being,
consistent
so many chances otherwise,
She resists it
She is insistent
this is more than it isn’t,
this is it

and…

Because she wants to believe you,
everything you say is believable

dreams deemed definite
predicates and precipice
She is a certain
no pessimist
a lesson in
and no less than it
bringing to the table an abundant bounty
no lessening
vesting,
no less than that
an arrested development,
attest to fact
free prisoner to your confinement,
awaiting judgement
the rest is act

choose Her
to be You,

… Because she wants to believe you,
and everything you say is believable.
