Stop.

Stop expecting anyone outside of you to care for, campaign for, account for, or consider you or what is important to you, the way that you would.

Stop.

Because no one is obligated to. No one has to. And to be quite honest, not many people want to.

That is your job! That’s your purpose. That’s your choice.

No one else has the responsibility of you. No one.

Not your parents. Not your spouse. Not your children. Not your friends. Not your coworkers. Not anyone.

Other than YOU!

YOU have to prioritize YOU and do whatever is necessary to ensure YOUR safety/security/significance. YOU have to do that! YOU have to live with YOURSELF and the decisions/choices/actions/inactions that YOU make/take in YOUR lifetime.

YOU.

It is up to YOU to choose whether or not YOU fail or succeed, win or lose, excel (live) or suffer (die), during YOUR time here.

It is up to YOU!

Because “their” responsibility, is THEM. Their priority, is THEM. Their focus, is THEM. Their love, support, consideration, compassion, understanding, concern, and confidence is for THEM. As it should be. They do not owe it to you. They are not responsible for you. You do not have to matter to them.

Until YOU matter to YOU.

Then they will recognize YOU.

Then they will respect YOU.

Then they will receive YOU.

Then they will respond to YOU.

Because YOU have set the bar and expectation for what YOU require from them. By doing what is required of YOU, for YOU. Even if you have to do it by YOURSELF!

There is nothing more to think about.

YOU know what to do!

Do it. For YOU.
