Some people were never going to believe in you. They aren’t ever going to believe in you.

They won’t believe you.

No matter how believable you are.
No matter what you’ve proven.
No matter what you’ve done.

There is nothing you can do that will change the way they see you.

Nothing.

Because their issue isn’t you.

You remind them of their issue.
Your story reminds them of their issue.
Your resilience to adversity, you resisting the pressure to fold, your readiness to do what it takes, your reaction and response to what you’ve faced to this point. They’ve somehow made that their issue.

They don’t hate you. They don’t know you, or know about you, well enough to hate you.

They’re more than likely hurting.
Hurt people hurt people.

But thats not your pain.
It’s not your problem.

It’s not about you. That’s about them.
And there is really nothing that you can do about it.

You just have to be ready for people like that.

YOU have to believe in YOU.
YOU have to believe YOU.

You have to BE you.

Not for them. For you.

Because, no matter what they do or don’t believe, it’s not going to stop you.

It hasn’t stopped you.
It ain’t stopping you.

Believe that.
