You are not okay.

It is okay to cry. It’s alright to scream. There’s nothing wrong with showing emotion, expressing yourself. You have feelings. You have every right to feel. It is okay for you to feel.

What’s not natural is your silence. You should not have ever been told to shut up. No one had any right to make you feel bad for your feelings. Those people were wrong for making you feel bad, guilty, or ashamed for wanting answers.

Stop pretending that you’re okay.
Stop trying to pretend that you’re okay.
You’re not okay.

You’re not okay with what happened. You’re not okay with who did it. You’re not okay with everything that happened after. You’re not okay with everyone telling you that you’ll be okay.

You deserve whatever time it takes for you to heal. You deserve to heal. You deserve a break. You deserve grace. You deserve understanding. You deserve to be heard.
But you also deserve to fight. You deserve answers. You deserve clarity. You deserve to be free from feeling like something that was never your fault, was your fault.

And yes, you do deserve an apology.
Even if you never get the apology.
Know that you do deserve one.

So, cry. Scream. Yell. Feel. Express your feelings. Say what hurts. Say who hurt you.

Don’t do what they did to you, to yourself.

By holding it in. By keeping their secret. By carrying their burden. By living their lie.

Stop doing any of that.
Stop doing all of that.

Breathe.

Take your life back.

Give them their sh¡t back.
That’s their sh¡t you’ve been holding onto. Their sh¡t you’ve been dealing with, depressed about, dying for.

You’ve given far too much of YOUR life because of them and their sh¡t.

Time to get their sh¡t out of you.
Time to get their sh¡t off of you.
Time to get their sh¡t away from you.
Time to get free from them and their sh¡t.

Today.
